The questions senior leaders ask me most, answered plainly.

Executive resume writing — common questions

How much does an executive resume writer cost?

The Full Sought After System, my complete engagement, is $2,875 for new clients; returning clients are always priced lower, at $2,125. If you prefer to begin with one document, executive resume writing is $1,600, LinkedIn profile optimization is $600, and a cover letter is $300. Coaching outside the System is $250 an hour. Most clients start with the Market Read, a $297 research report on how the market reads you today, and the full fee is credited toward the System if you book within 30 days.

What you're paying for isn't a document, it's the judgment that decides where you should compete, how the market should see you, and the strategy that positions you for the roles you actually want.

If you need deeper positioning or search support, that's quoted after we talk on your free Clarity Call, you'll always know the exact investment before anything starts.

How long does the process take?

It depends on where you're starting. If you know your target (a Career Hunter) the full process typically takes about two weeks from start to finish. If you need help defining the target first (a Career Explorer) plan on 1–3 months. You'll get a specific timeline on your Clarity Call, after you apply, before anything starts.

Do you also optimize LinkedIn profiles?

Yes, LinkedIn optimization is available standalone or bundled with resume writing.

I'm not actively job hunting. Is this still for me?

Absolutely. Many clients come to me for board positioning, proactive career management, or simply to be ready before they need to be. Every engagement is a confidential executive job search, most of my clients are employed and exploring quietly.

Can't AI just write my resume?

AI can draft a decent-looking document. It can't interview you, challenge your assumptions, or position you against a competitive market. At the executive level, that difference is the entire game.

Why does this cost more than a budget resume service?

A good resume writer is expensive; a bad one is more expensive. A cheap resume costs you the interviews you never get, the offers that come in lower than they should, and the months spent in a search going nowhere, because the market judged you on a narrative you didn't control. I interview you, challenge your assumptions, and find the accomplishments you've been overlooking, then the real work starts: positioning, targeting, recruiter engagement, and guidance through the search itself, from diagnosis to offer negotiation. That's the difference between a document and a career move.

What happens on the Clarity Call?

A free, no-pressure conversation about where you are and what could be possible. You’ll leave with a clear sense of your options, and your best next step, whether or not we work together.
